I have fifteen years of experience as an account executive in B2B, and five years of experience in a retail environment.  I am a full-time marketing management student at the University of St. Thomas, expected graduation date, May 2016. In addition to my responsibilities at St. Thomas, I intern at The Forum on Workplace Inclusion at Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas.  

 

In 2013, I started my own event marketing consultation company, R+R, to help small businesses develop strategic marketing communications to satisfy my desire to create real-world experiences as I learn.  We were one of the  first students to execute a charity fashion show that raised awareness and over $4,300 in direct food and cash donations. 

 

I organized fashion shows and my first holiday shopping event by matching up a fashion designer and one fitness boutique for my retailing mini-business plan assignment.  I also created a trade area map and provided a strategic marekting plan to increase current customers and look for new market segments.

I created a comprehensive social media strategy to develop brand awareness and product knowledge by various marketing techniques that develop integrating marketing communication (IMC).  I wrote the first department communication strategy that integrated the Center for Catholic Studies’ Institutions for one clear brand vision and message for prospective students, students, and alumni.  I am in the process of converting the John A. Ryan Institute’s website over from Collage to Terminal Four.

I also assumed operations manager in scheduling services and managing inventory orders and delivers to provide exceptional customer service.

I was responsible for the sale of full line of products/services to new and existing customers. I developed solution-based sales relationships by identifying potential problem areas for the customers and offering Zee products or services as the solution. I engaged in direct one-to-one communication with customer or client, made sales presentations and deployed promotional materials to persuade existing or new customers to buy Zee products or services. I Performed field promotion work and develops new accounts. I demonstrated products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services.

I was responsible for building relationships with direct clients to sell Clear Channel assets, which often entailed developing an integrated radio and online campaign to provide the best solution. I also worked with transactional business (media and advertising agencies) that negotiated rates and effectively held gross profit and closed deals. I was the account executive for Kool 108 and helped bring Kool Karaoke to Stella's Fish Cafe.

I was one of the last classes to graduate from Clear Channel University (Houston, Texas) that profoundly shaped me into adverting and marketing communications.
